The Sacrifice Zone
The Ironbound district in Newark, NJ, is one of the most toxic neighborhoods in America. Maria López-Nuñez and her colleagues are waging a war for environmental justice, fighting to prevent surrounding factories from obtaining “permits to pollute.” Working in collaboration with her community and local politicians for the right to breathe clean air, their efforts recently paid off in a groundbreaking new law to protect the state’s most vulnerable communities from polluters. If you are with a school, college, university, library, gallery, non-profit or community organization and agree to show the film in connection with teaching activities and not charge admission or use the film to fundraise, we offer three options:
STREAMING FOR A SINGLE EVENT $150
To stream the film one time, select “single event.”
STREAMING FOR 7 DAYS $300
To stream the film over a period of seven days, select “7 days.”
STREAMING IN PERPETUITY $500
Colleges, universities, private libraries, or government organizations with password protected servers, can select “in perpetuity.”
